Arnisee is a lovely place for a picnic and a short walk with the kids. Lots of people were sunbathing so perhaps the lake warms up a bit later in summer, enough for swimming. You can reach the Arnisee by two different cable cars,...

Ideally to park near Intschi (Luftseilbahn Arnisee) and walk up to Arnisee. It’s a nice warm-up hike with nice lake at the end. Easy path with great views over the lake and...

You can catch bus 401 from Erstfeld and in about 15 minutes you will have reached your stop (either Amsteg or Intschi). Beautiful lake, amazing scenery. Plenty of paths....
