Sihlwald — Attraction in Horgen

Tiny village surrounded by beautiful forests. From the train ststion you can take a train to Zurich. It s expensive and it takes about 40min. There are many tracks you can walk through. Some of the wood bridges are really nice. We were a little bit disappointed as some of the people attending to a show in the town were trowing papers on the ground, and they were Swiss!!...

Had wonderful hikes in this forest. Well kept but still wild, especially in the core zone where they don’t alter the way of nature. During spring, the ground was covered with Bearlauch (wild garlic) flowers in large patches. It was like walking in a fairy tale. Highly recommend.
