An excellent way for bikes with no cars around the beautiful lake of Brienz. It is for intermediate bikers or with electro bikes, as it has step small climb if you follow the way to Brienz. Also, be aware there is a short gravel road that isn't optimal for a race bike, but it's not that far. Plus you can stop and enjoy the famous Giessbachfalls, as they are there.

Beautiful place to hike around the lake. After getting of the bus, don’t head toward the water/pier if you want to hike around the lake there is a trail toward Gleissbach Waterfalls (I didn’t go all the way) that goes around the lake and it is a great place to walk!

Sind heute den Uferweg von Iseltwald nach Griessbach gegangen. Hier unsere Erfahrungen dazu: 1. Am besten geht man den Weg von Giessbach nach Iseltwald. Da es in Giessbach weder ein Imbiss sonst noch irgendetwas gibt, ausser das Grandhotel bei den Giessbachfällen. 2. Die Zeit mit 1 Std 20 Min ist viel zu wenig, es sei denn man ist Sportler oder interessiert sich nicht für die Natur und will auch weder Fotos noch Pausen machen. Man sollte eher von gut 2 Std ausgehen. 3. Für Familien mit Kinderwagen ist der Uferweg nicht geeignet, da es über Steine, Wurzeln, Steinstufen Bergauf und Bergab geht. 4. Man sollte vernünftiges festes Schuhwerk dabei haben. Trotzdem würde ich diesen Weg jeden empfehlen zu gehen, die Natur ist einzigartig.

This is a nice moderately difficult walk (easy for a dog) but beware that there are plenty on areas where ticks are rife. Went on the 14th July and the next day the vets have taken out 11 ticks. When we mentioned the area we went they all knew this was an issue there. You will struggle with a pushchair at...
