Lauenensee — Attraction in Lauenen

This lake is a little hard to reach, either with a car with only one way (be ready to drive backwards) or by bus. But once you are there, it's worth every second. The landscape and the scenery are idyllic, and as you'd imagine, I am a painter's image. You can easily walk around the lake; it's a good 1-1.5 walk, and don't forget to bring a fire and some food to grill. There are a couple of spots to grill. For me when you are walking down hill take the Lift from Gstaad and walk down around 3 hours to Lauenensee! During the trails you will passing by 2 restaurant one was up hill and second one down hill small house before you connect to the Lauenensee hill. I mean you guys very have to try it out the trails are easy to walk only a little bit up hill to connect to the hill Lauenensee but mostly trails are down! But easy down! If you want to do a great basic hike, I recommend the route from Lauenen to Lake Lauenen and back. The route is about 10 km long and the hike takes just under three hours. It is an easy route with little elevation gain. The view is phenomenally beautiful along the entire circular hike. Alternatively, it is also possible to walk one way and take the other by post bus.
