Really beautiful Lake about an hour drive from Lausanne. It's an awesome hike if you are up for it with some breathtaking views from the top. The hike is not too tough and can be done in just about an hour, ending with a nice restaurant at the top of hill. The return leg of the hike can be done via a forested area though if you do that, then the start and end points of the hike will be about a km off. There are also restaurants around the lake and public parking areas are also available.

Definitely an underrated spot! Views of the lake from Le Pont are lovely, less touristy which is great but a great chilled vibe. Plenty of walks, rest spots and access on the train from Lausanne via Vallorbe / Le Pont.

Lovely lake in a green valley. We drove all around it making stops every now and then. Nice waters, lovely huts and shacks along the way. A really nice wander!

Gut angelegter Wandweg 27 km rund um den See. In knapp 5 Stunden machbar. Alles flach bis auf die letzten 5 km. Das Seeufer ist fast gänzlich zugängig. Schöne Sandstrände Dank den zügigen Jurawinden ein Eldorado für Kite und Wingfoil Surfer Im Winter bei genügend Kälte kann auf dem See Schlittschuh gefahren werden . Zum Glück nicht überlaufen und bei vielen Deutschschweizer nicht sehr bekannt. Ein Ausflug lohnt sich allemal

Randonnée pédestre tout autour du lac. Une rive boisée et sauvage avec places aménagées pour barbecue, une rive avec chemin plat, bitumé par endroit, et passerelles avant le Brassus. Plusieurs accès au lac possible en train ( Le Pont- Brassus) sur la rive boisée. Il fait compter 6h30 env. et 25 km pour faire tout le tour du lac à pied. L'hiver, le lac gèle et offre une magnifique patinoire naturelle. A ne pas manquer.

wir haben erholsame sommertage am lac de joux verbracht. für naturliebhaber ein traumhaft schönes gebiet mit vielen möglichkeiten wie wandern, biken, fischen, wassersport etc. das wasser ist sehr klar und angenehm frisch. trotz der hochsaison war es sehr ruhig und wir haben immer eine freie stelle zum grillen gefunden. gerne kommen wir nächsten sommer wieder :-)

Idéal pour une randonnée autour de ce lac. De nombreux endroits pour s’arrêter et se baigner ou souffler un moment. Aucun dénivelé pendant 16 km. Pour un tour complet compter 5 heures(22km). Stationnement à le Pont l’Abbaye, débutez la randonnée par la rive sud. Comptez 2h30 sans arrêt (en marche rapide) pour arriver au Sentier. Pour le retour plusieurs arrêt de train possible entre le sentier et Le Pont. Comme d’habitude en Suisse, les trains vont partout et il y en a beaucoup. Billets sur l’appli CFF.
