This is a great little museum, extremely well curated by the previous director, Nathalie Herschdorfer, who has recently changed jobs and become director for the Elysée museum in Lausanne. Federica Chiocchetti, PhD with a particular interest in photography and writing has now taken over MBAL and as far from what we can judge from these spring and summer exhibitions, the high quality from the past has been perfectly maintained. Linking poetry and art was most interesting with many unexpected angles. Also the section with photos from the past of women reading was a great idea in current times.
