This was an amazing surprise! We had little expectation when we looked up museums to visit on a rainy weekday in May. The boat cruise was pleasant and scenic. Upon arriving at the museum, we were greeted by a very friendly and enthusiastic lady who is actually an employee of Swiss customs/border control running the museum near the border of Italy. The museum is well kept, with lots of interesting stories and exhibits over several floors. And much to our surprise: free entry. Unfortunately, we only had an hour until the next boat back to Lugano. But we will be back, next time attempting the hike along the lake! A big thank you to the enthusiastic staff; you are doing a...

We reached the Museum at 13h and waited 40min for the guard to open it.. (Internet indicate opening hours 13h) He finally arrived by boat, opened the doors, did not apologize or bother too much.. It took him aaaages to arrange the regular ticket vs. The 3D ones.. Then another 20min to get the 3d ones started.. Wow. Never again. The museum itself is not tooo special I must say. We believe that you gather more information through those online series.. 2-3 items were interesting.. and floor nr. 3 - def. The highlight. Not. Overall: the boat trip from Lugano over to the museum side was...
