Chälrütirank viewpoint — Attraction in Lungern

View point is pretty amazing, however would not recommend to specially come for this spot if you are staying in any of the nearby areas. You can do a quick stop over if you're going from Zurich to Interlaken or vice versa!

Free parking area right next to it for 4/5 cars, where you can quickly hop off and take a few pictures.

We were taking quick pics after waiting for a few minutes for a couple to move out and all of a sudden a tour bus of some visitors stopped and they couldn't wait for us and started taking photos immediately thereby ruining our photos! So yeah, not worth a special visit but good for a quick stop over.

Also I'd recommend passing by this place in the afternoon, in the morning, if it's not cloudy, then the sun would be behind you and you wouldn't be able to take some...

I cannot understand why people give 5 starts to this place. It’s terrible! First of all, it’s not a lake, it’s a reservoir. Also, in Switzerland there are astonishing lakes and mountains and compare to what you can see in the country, this is nothing! Totally not worth it. The map shows the mountains in Grindelwald region (Eiger, Jungfrau, etc), but you cannot see them from there, they are left behind. I would never recommend to go to this place on purpose, and I will never...
