Un lago artificiale che, suo malgrado, ha saputo creare un bellissimo scenario. Da qui si può partire per numerose escursioni sia verso la val Piora o seguendo in Reno di Medel, verso la val Cadlimo oppure verso il Laj Blau o verso il Piz Scopi... Non c'é che l'imbarazzo della scelta. impressionanti sono la diversità della flora che si può osservare sulle sue rive, come pure la limpidezza delle acque del Reno di Medel.

Lai da Sontga Maria is a lake, located north of the Lukmanier Pass in Switzerland. It lies almost entirely in the municipality of Medel, a tiny fraction of the south-west part of the lake belonging to the municipalities of Quinto and Blenio. The reservoir has a surface area is 1.77 km².
