Incredible turquoise lake with great panoramic view behind... however if you have just started 5 seen wanderung from Pitzolhütte and this is the 1st lake on your way... just keep going ;)) the next one will impress you more! Overall hike is quite easy (if you start your way from very top - from Pitzolhütte) and medium if you are doing the full “5 seen wanderung” starting from Gaffia cable car. But it worth every penny! Due to touristic flow decrease caused by covid there were just few people near the lake so you can easily make beautiful pictures. Ticket costs 44 chf per person to Gaffia (22 with GA/Halbtax) and 48/23 chf to Pitzolhütte Parking is currently for free.

Hiking from weisstanenn ,Arena batöni to reach here ,what a great hike! The lake looks like a opal ,very deep blue colour even on a misty day ,just amazing ,l and beautifull ! To reach this lake go around trough the cable cars and then you have to follow the trail for the "5 lakes " eventually you will get there !
