Nice hike. Our only mistake was that we took the long "red" (Mountain hiking) trail up. We should have gone around to the other side of the mountain ⛰️ and taken the "blue" (Alpine hiking) trail. We would have made it up quicker and had more fun doing it. This peak has great views but I find it to be a little....hmm...overcrowded or touristy. I like Fronalpstock, Rautispitz and Vorder Glärnisch...

1950 mNN, , Europe's highest nagelfluh mountain (glacier rock sand mixture), 3 hours ascent of Weesen with difficulty grade T3, another variant is the southern part of the route from Kaltbrunn, partly laid out like a via ferrata. Because of this exposed pre alps mountain the entire level is to be overlooked and you have a fantastic all-round view of the Speer worth every effort.Take a trip...

Started our hike from Amden and finished in Amden as well. In total had 20+km. I wouldn't say this is the easiest hike I've done but it's definitely worth it. Beautiful landscapes and the view of monumental Mattstock make this hike incredibly interesting. The hike to the top of Speer was a little bit challenging, we often stopped to have a rest but when you reach the top, you realize...
