Superb natural alpine lake at 1690m above the Villars / Gryon resorts. Perfect for swimming and paddling. The lake can be reached by foot, 30min walk from the Bretaye train station or by car in summer from La Forclaz in les Diablerets valley. There is a restaurant on the lake shore. Book in advance as it is usually full on week ends. In winter the lake is forzen, the restaurant is still open and accessible on skis.

Très beau lac de montagne à 1500m. L'eau est fraîche en été, environ 17°. Le fond est un mélange de cailloux et de boue. Plusieurs endroits pour se poser dans l'herbe mais peu sont plats. Accessible en voiture mais attention pas vraiment de parking prévu. Si beaucoup d'affluence il est difficile de se garer. La route est étroite, très peu de possibilité de croiser. Vous pouvez aussi vous garez plus bas et monter à pied, il y a différents départs de randonnée. Un restaurant est au bord du lac mais je n'ai pas testé.
