Walensee — Attraction in Quarten

An amazing tranquil place to visit. On a sunny day the lake is an eye catching aquamarine colour. I don’t know if we were lucky but it was not over crowded as we set out to hike from Walenstadt Bahnhof through forested areas alongside of the mountain all the way through to Quienten then we took a little boat across to Murg and a train from Murg train station back to our original starting point. The hike itself was beautiful, I would not class it as easy, there are some steep sections ascending up the mountain and very narrow sections on the decent. Steady forward is a must. Pack a rucksack with little snacks and water. You can have a great cooling off swim in the lake as you approach quinten or start off with a great cool off in the lake at Walenstadt. There is an area covered in grass with east access into the lake , toilet and change rooms and a little take away restaurant with sufficient variety of choice to start you off on your 3-4 hour hike. Well worth the trip as you will always have view of either the lake , mountains or lush...

One of the most beautiful and by far the deepest lake in Switzerland. It`s water temperature is always far colder than the other lakes. The transport by boat across the lake has a long history because the slopes on its banks were very steep and therefore hardly passable. That's how Lake Walensee shipping came to be and is now a tourist attraction. Betlis harbor is one of the warmest places in the country, here are redirected by the Churfirsten winds so it is the place with the most hours of sunshine in Switzerland, here grow even kiwis! In Weesen you can rent good boats and it has great beaches as well as Walenstadt at the other end of the lake. Очень красивое место🤩 Много свадебных фотосессий Есть несколько парковок рядом, но они забиты( цена парковки 1.5 фр за час Много лавочек, чтоб отдохнуть и насладиться красотой озера среди гор Есть несколько спусков к воде, лично мы помочили с дочкой ноги😂 ( конец мая) Сразу причал и ходят небольшие кораблики. Маршрут по всему озеру с остановками. Если есть желание можно даже пройтись к водопаду на одной из них👌 Или просто насладиться прогулкой на кораблике , где вы можете заказать себе еду и напитки. Нам повезло на озере плавали парусники и винт-сёрфинг - это отдельное завораживающее зрелище. Мы к сожалению не смогли проплыть всё озеро, но если у вас есть возможность- сделайте это! За двоих за 3 остановки мы заплатили 50,20 фр ( ребёнок 3 года бесплатно) Для тех кто любит следить за акциями, то была супер акция поезд от вашего места жительства и весь маршрут на кораблике - супер цена 20 фр. 👌 Был один минус , лично мы не нашли туалет на набережной Weelen See( маленький ребёнок сами понимаете 🫣😉)

Sehr schöner Ort🤩 Viele Hochzeitsfoto-Sessions Es gibt mehrere Parkplätze in der Nähe, aber sie sind voll (Parkgebühr beträgt 1,5 FR pro Stunde) Viele Bänke zum Entspannen und Genießen der Schönheit des Sees inmitten der Berge Es gibt mehrere Abstiege zum Wasser, meine Tochter und ich haben uns persönlich die Füße nass gemacht😂 (Ende Mai) Gleich nebenan gibt es einen Pier und kleine Boote fahren vorbei. Route um den gesamten See mit Zwischenstopps. Wenn du möchtest, kannst du auf einem davon sogar bis zum Wasserfall laufen👌 Oder genießen Sie einfach eine Bootsfahrt, bei der Sie Ihr Essen und Ihre Getränke selbst bestellen können. Wir hatten Glück, dass es auf dem See Segelboote und Propellersurfer gab – das ist ein eigenständiges, faszinierendes Schauspiel. Leider konnten wir den See nicht komplett durchschwimmen, aber wenn ihr die Möglichkeit habt, tut es! Für zwei Personen für 3 Haltestellen haben wir 50,20 Franken bezahlt (3-jähriges Kind gratis) Für alle, die gerne Aktionen verfolgen, gab es eine Superaktion: Zug ab Wohnort und die ganze Strecke mit dem Schiff – Superpreis 20 Franken. 👌 Es gab einen Nachteil, wir persönlich haben am Weelensee-Ufer keine Toilette gefunden (ein kleines Kind,...
