Golf Club Matterhorn — Attraction in Randa

A big shout out to Sandro and management at the Matterhorn Golf Course in Zermatt, Switzerland. My husband has wanted to play here ever since we accidentally passed by 3 years ago on our way to Zermatt. Fortunately our travel plans took us back to the beautiful area this spring and my husband was given the opportunity to play. Despite the course being closed to non members for the season, Sandro went out of his way to arrange for my husband to rent clubs and hit the greens during our 24 hour visit. His sincere kindness and hospitality didn’t go unnoticed. He truly went over and above to make it possible. What a great experience! We decided to stop in for a round right before heading back to Zurich. They were able to keep our luggage while we golfed and called us a taxi back to the train station.

Furthermore, costs were very reasonable for 9 holes, club rentals, and a non-golfing rider (or really a walker since there is no need for a cart).

The course is pretty flat and easy to walk, plus it has amazing views.

10/10 would recommend for an afternoon...
