We're living in the region since many years, and each time we have guest from abroad, we take them to Regensberg. It's always a success, as the tiny, old place with its old houses and the unusual tower is fabulous, especially for guest from countries that have no medieval history. It's also very interesting for most to look down the illuminated shaft well (you have to pay a small fee to have the light switch on, so it's highly recommended to have some coins with you). A huge plus is the spectacular view you can enjoy on a nice day all over the countryside, from the tower (entrance fee and steep stairs!) or from the village. On sunny days, the capacities of the restaurants are very limited, so you have to have a drink somewhere else or bring...

The area around this old castle is so idyllic, romantic and beautiful. I would recommend visiting the castle. Going up the stairs and enjoying the spectacular view. In the summer time, they have a summer party up there with lots of activities for kids. You simply buy them a bracelet and they can try all kinds of funny activities. Easily spent 5-6 hours up there for the party. It is once a year around June. You can't drive your car up there though. During this festival there is a shuttle bus going up there. I just really love the atmosphere. I do not understand why they don't have a Christmas market up there. The...

This Village is often overlooked by tourists. It's situated on top of a mountain with beautiful surroundings. The castle and Tower is medieval nicely restored. In the center there are mainly Apartments and Hotel and school. There is a nice hotel and restaurant with an interesting menu. It's beautiful with a lot of flowers. The well is maybe the deepest in Switzerland. There is a couple of restaurants on the road up. To see this willage is quick, Reserve an hour or two. There is a small burrial ground worth seeing. I recommend very much to com here and relax for...

I stayed a night in Buchs and its a ten mins drive to the castle. Went in the morning (do observe the operating hours) and the view was breathtaking. There were no tourists and the castle is right beside a cathedral. You have to climb about 4 storeys high after the turnstile (entrance at 1 or 2 CHF), and you get to enjoy a 360degree clear view of the city+mountain. Do ensure to carry light to navigate up and down the stairs. There's a parking nearby and you can walk about 5mins up towards the direction of the castle.

Once you visit the place will love it, on the top on Zurich view with beauty under you eyes, Full of history and very old construction of well present there. Nice place to spend time when you want to feel relaxed. 10 out of 10 Best view is from the top of this Castle and for this you have to pay the CHF 1 for per person which is nothing to see the beauty of place. Opening Hours Summer months Daily 8.00am – 9.00pm Winter months Daily 9.00am – 6.00pm
