Beautiful view over the Doubs valley with a couple cool grill/picnic spot to enjoy the sunset. Unfortunately, the access to the Chateau Cugny is not very well indicated. I did a hike from Saignelégier to Goumois, along the Doubs to the chute du Bief de Vautenaivre, up to the Château Cugny and back to Saignelégier. The hike was 20.47km and went up for 771m.

Das Chateau de Cugny ist kein Schloss. Es hat seinen Namen von den Gesteinsformationen zuoberst auf d Berg. Sie sehen aus wie Wehrtürme. Ein Besuch dieses Ortes kann ich allen Empfehlen. Von der Ostseite her hat es einen schönen Weg, der hinauf führt.
