Open all year, 43 km long, max height difference 1433m, wide, very good developed road with a pleasant slope and without restrictions, pass at 2284 m asl with mountain lake, parking and kiosk. The pass has a long history and was rebuilt by the Romans into a main artery, many Roman finds along the road bear witness to the busy traffic. Attractions along the route include the Roman steles, the newly built modern july theater and the marmorera reservoir where you can go scuba diving, there is a flooded village under water

A Stargazing Bonanza! However a good handful of electricity poles run along the south of the lake from east—west. Little light pollution from the gorgeous Juliet Tower at night (emergency exit signs inside), annoying but not to bad to work around.

As soon as we climbed, i fell in love with the views immediately. Not only i had the most beautiful weather in the middle of the winter, but everything was covered in snow! A really bucketlist moment for every driving enthusiast!

Vorsichtshalber.
