Excellent area for mountain biking. Just back from 10 days there. Your lift pass covers you for all 12 ish resort areas and all the associated ski lifts. The riding is epic. The Swiss National ( Grand Conche) was a fantastic trail ( old school single track steep and techy). If you are from the UK then trail colour system is the same, however, some of the blue trails would be difficult reds in the UK. We Vanlifed by the far end of Lake Montriond and was never moved on. Lots of other vans there too. Great for swimming ( washing) after a hard day on the dusty trails. Morgins was the highlight. Long steep, awesome trails. If you have the time and opportunity get your self there, you won't regret it. We drove from the north west of England and arrived in 16 hours.

Morgins is a fantastic destination for skiing enthusiasts, offering access to the vast Portes du Soleil ski area. The slopes are well-groomed and cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced skiers, with plenty of options to explore. The ski lifts are efficient, and the panoramic mountain views are simply breathtaking. The village itself is charming and welcoming, with friendly locals, cozy accommodations, and great après-ski options. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day on the slopes. Whether you’re here for a family trip or a solo adventure, Morgins has everything you need for an unforgettable skiing experience. For anyone who loves skiing and stunning alpine scenery, Morgins is a must-visit. Highly recommend it—5 stars!

A very picturesque alpine village. Part of the Portes du Soleil. The route to Chatel in France is in one direction, the Swiss side towards Les Crosets, the other. A good cable car up to Swiss side, but subsequent lifts q old and slow. Had a nice morning drink and cake in the patisserie where there was a beautiful selection and staff were very helpful.

Challenging downhill trails that should all be classified as red / black. This is not a place for beginners but does cater for proficient mountain bikers.

Good option of lift choices (single, 5hour, daily etc) but daily+ pass is for the whole Port du Soleil area and Morgins is not well connected to the adjacent resorts.

Choice of restaurants /bars at both the top and bottom...
