A good hike from Oberalppass to Tomasee/Rheinquelle/Lai da Tuma & back to Oberalppass. Tomasee is regarded as the source of the Rhine. This was a tricky hike on stony paths, partly rocky, lot of lovely Cows freely grazing, many Waterfalls on the way, whichever direction you look around - only Alps, plenty of greenery & Alpine flowers. Some stretch has partly impassable terrain which require sure footedness &...

Hiked the route attached in the photo on 17 June 24.

The route it is party still blocked by snow drifts and rock fall.

I wouldn’t recommend the route yet as parts were very risky (50/50 live or die). There are a few snow bridges that cross flowing water which were...

Nice hiking to get to this place through oberalps. The water is greenish Turkish. We wanted to swim, but the water was too cold for us. It's a beautiful place !....
