Lake Biel or Lake Bienne is a lake in western Switzerland. Together with Lake Morat and Lake Neuchâtel, it is one of the three large lakes in the Jura region of Switzerland. It lies on the language boundary between German and French speaking areas.

Beautiful lake. Warning that Uber is very unreliable in Biel. There are regular taxi's and trams/busses at the train station. There is a park at the lake and a snack shop and a restaurant. The town of Biel has lots of shops and restaurants. Most things close on Sunday in Switzerland. Walked from train station to lake.
