READ BEFORE DRIVING! The falls were okay. Not a lot of water in April... The view was pretty. On the way out Two locals blocked us in and tried to extort us for 100CHF. We were unaware that you had to pay a fee and did not see a sign or the place that others have mentioned to pay the 10CHF. We were the only visitors there and we did go by car. A local man parked an unmarked green jeep on the bridge and left the jeep there for several minutes. As he walked away we honked thinking he didnt see us, but it was done intentionally. Another man then came later and demanded we pay him. He did not speak English and we did not speak German. The entire situation was terrifying. We had to call our host to help translate for us. She advised to stay in the car and call the police. Our call would not go through. Resentfully, he finally moved and as we left another car was blocking our exit also demanding a payment. Our host stayed on the phone with us the entire time after calling the police for us because they would not let us go. They talked to both men on our behalf but neither men explained how to pay as it was mentioned in other reviews. As we could not communicate with them we did not know what amount or how to pay. We also didnt have cash on us. Be warned if you go and are there alone. Take the 10CHF but again, we did not see the pay station or signs that indicate to pay or not to drive on the rode to...

While the trail was of medium difficulty, and pushing a stroller did make parts of it a bit challenging, it was absolutely worth it.
Reaching the top of the waterfall, surrounded by lush green views, village charm, and the cool mist from the falls, felt magical. Standing close to the summit of the fall was a highlight — peaceful, refreshing, and mesmerizing.
If you’re in the area and don’t mind a bit of a trek, Staubifall is a gem — especially for nature lovers and families up for a...
Read moreSuch an amazing place to visit. A must see in Switzerland. Friendly people and the scenery is unbelievable. You can hike up or drive up (off road a bit). When you arrive at the bridge, there is a small box on the right side. You need to fill in two cards. The blue one stays in your car, and the white (envelope) need to be dropped with the fee (10CHF for two days) inside the box.
There are toilets on site and if you ask nicely, you can even stay overnight with you self sufficient small camper. We did and it was awesome. Got surrounded by cows during the night whilst stargazing.
TOTALLY worth it !!!
(This is a jewel, Pls take your...
