Gorges de la Poëta-Raisse — Attraction in Val-de-Travers

Brilliant walking with lots of interesting bits to keep kids walking! For those who may be dragging unwilling children up, the 'interesting stuff' (i.e. boardwalks, gorge, stone steps, waterfall, cave etc) starts about 1.8km from the car park at the bottom (we parked at the one at the south end of Môtiers). The walk from the car park to the top of the gorge and back took us 3.5 hours with primary aged children.

Wandeling gemaakt vanaf Môtier parkeerplaats bij het station en terug. Fantastische route, begin fors stijgen, middelste gedeelte via nauwe paadjes en trappen, laatste gedeelte weinig steile paadjes. Helaas weinig water in het stroompje vanwege de droogte. Desondanks zeker de moeite waard. Indien je dit met kinderen wil lopen, dan goed in de gaten houden vanwege nauwe paadjes vlak langs de afgrond. Met een hoge kinderdrager geven overhangende rotsen iets problemen, maar wel...

C'est une Gorge magnifique que la Pöetta-Raisse, sauvage sans trop de béton et sans asphalte, très naturel facile pour une randonnée en famille, toutefois garder un oeil sur vos petites têtes surtout dans la partie haute ou il y a les chutes, un peu glissant selon la météo. C'est un lieu ou j'ai grandis et y ai passé toute mon enfance, nous allions dans les Gorges 3 à 4 fois par semaine, un calme et un douceur de la nature pour...
