Practical tips Come early, at 10.00 if possible I couldn't book tickets online, link doesn't work, so you buy them here, could be a small line Take normal food, here's an expensive restaurant and cafe with drinks and sweets, or tiny picnic packs for chf 45 Toilets are only at the entrance, so plan you walk, as the park is quite big If you're with kids or limited in time, plan just flower gardens and enchanted forest, it's majestic If you have enough time, plan 3-4 hours to see it all Take your time, curiosity and attention, there are so many wonderful details, especially in the forest, kids and some adults would love it If possible, don't hurry and look at the sculptures from different points, the impression is changing Check the birds in the forest, use Merlin app for birds recognition or any other If you arrive early, start with sunny parts, and then at midday explore the cool forest Stay till 14.30 when they let go the big bang, big kinetic sculpture near the entrance Check all the other kinetic sculptures, there are many, they react to wind, your touch or steps If you are a fan of irises, come in May, June is too late. All the football size fields of them are already gone. But roses in full bloom You may ask to refill your water bottle at the small cafe Secret garden at the entrance is small and lovely There's a guided tour but only in French. They also seem to let you get into the mansion, check the details with staff. If you go by public transport, don't miss the small entrance walking from the bus stop, lol for the signs or follow people)) Enjoy! Very much recommended, the only sad thing is that they don't allow adults to take kid's leaflet, I'd love to check the tasks...

As an expat l, I didn't expect a lot before coming here, but I ended up very happy about visiting Chateau and wishing to come back once again. This chateau has an enormous territory dedicated for walks, flowers, sculptures, lush green fields. Enjoy variety of irises blooming in central garden and then have a walk in an alley with plethora of statues, many of which are interactive, take a medieval walk and take a break in cafe or bring your own food to enjoy in dedicated area. This is perfect place to visit with kids, that like to spend time outdoors, the space is so vast it is guaranteed that your kid will spend all of her energy. During covid there was enough space for social distancing and safety precautions. Finally, of course check for the weather in advance. We have visited during sunny day with pleasant 19 degrees that warranted pleasant warmth in the open and satisfying chill in the shadows. There is local wine and other memorabilia you can bring back...

Beautiful place, 20min max car-drive from Lausanne. It was open on a bank holiday in June, and it was a nice 2,5 hour walk through the castle garden, magic forest with artistic installations all over the place. Very relaxing, not overcrowded with pleasant and English speaking staff. Exhibited art pieces were also beautiful, diverse, intriguing, from animal, fairy and abstract sculptures and buildings, to very modern hypnotizing paintings. Entrance tickets, souvenir and restaurant prices are a bit higher than excepted. Overall, a nice experience. Blooming of the Iris garden seems has already passed in beginning of June. Bunch of other flowers and fragrant trees all...
