Burgruine Wartau — Attraction in Wartau

Hooray....another useless site featuring on Google Maps that's impossible to reach by car. Google Maps wants you to take a sharp right.....up a hiking trail!!!! Any available parking is not close by, so unless you want to walk from the carpark to the (small) ruins...all up steep hills... then don't bother even think about this place to visit. Good old waste of time Europe and it's preposterous...

Una splendida passeggiata fattibile senza troppe difficoltà. Prima di raggiungere il castello si viene completamente avvolti da un paesaggio spettacolare. Immersi nel verde e nella pace assoluta si respira un aria salutare. A un certo punto si inizia a salire su un piccolo sentiero impervio ed è così che si arriva al castello. Si apre un cancello che apre le porte a un piccolo paradiso , l' emozione è veramente forte. L' interno del castello è visitabile anche se ormai restano solo i muri esterni a delimitare quelle che erano delle stanze a più piani. Nel giardino circondato dalle mura sono stati allestiti un paio di tavoli in pietra. Un Grill circondato da tronchi per sedersi completano la zona ristoro. Tutto intorno un...

A beautiful ruin with a few places to camp. Excellent views of the surrounding area. The only thing lacking was maybe some sort of information board to get a little bit of knowledge about the history...
