I resisted to this place for 10 years. I simply wasn’t convinced by the Photos. Now I know why-you are in raw Nature, not i. the King’s garden. There are always some trees or Bush in the way. You simply gotta see it on your own. There is a cool BBQ place on the top. I parked at the “Chicken City” Farm. If you got Time, go and see the Waterfall nearby😇

Eindrückliches Quelltuff-Gebilde mitten im Wald, wie sonst nicht einfach gerade so anderswo zu finden. Steile Waldtreppen führen zu den Tüfels Chilen, somit etwas Trittsicherheit und Grundkondition erforderlich, dann gut machbar. Oberhalb der Tüfels Chilen hat es einen gepflegten Grillplatz mit Tischen und Grill zum Verweilen. Die Wege sind gut gepflegt. Gut mit dem herrlichen Bäntal-Wasserfall zu verbinden, welcher nur unweit im Tobel rauscht. Geplante Route auf Karte ausgedruckt mitzunehmen ist von Vorteil. Die Wanderwege sind soweit signalisiert, allerdings hat man im Tobel unten kein Mobilnetz.

Ein Kraftort, sagt man. Tatsächlich hat dieser Ort etwas Mystisches; Die Sinterterrassen (Quelltuff) an sich muten schon etwas geheimnisvoll an, aber es wachsen hier auch Pflanzen, die andernorts nur selten anzutreffen sind bspw. wunderschöne Orchideen. Von Kollbrunn spaziert man in knapp einer Stunde bis zur Quelle. Parkplätze in der Nähe gibt es nur sehr wenige. Eine schöne Grillstelle ist auch vorhanden. WC gibt’s allerdings nur im Dorf.

Nice short hike with a hidden gem. Historical and current situation is explained well at local dashboard placed. If you don't want to walk up too steep, head back and enjoy another waterfall when you walk...
