The Matterhorn is a mountain of the Alps, straddling the main watershed and border between Switzerland and Italy. It is a large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the extended Monte Rosa area of the Pennine Alps, whose summit is 4,478 metres high, making it one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔🏔

It’s a long ride to the top but simply amazing. At 4000m, it looks terrific and marvellous. There is a green bus service which takes you to the entrance point to the ride from zermatt station. But take my suggestion, take a stroll to the Matterhorn entry, walking through Zermatt town and take the bus when going back to station.

One of the most beautiful spots in Switzerland. You will need to take the train to get up here. Infact you will need a train to get to the city of Zermat. Then take another train to get to this spot. Spectacular views. Extremly scenic. Part of The Grand Tour. Simply increadable! Must must visit!

Even though there was hardly any snow in late September, we still had great views. Took two days for my ears to re-adjust! But this is a must-see tourist stop in Switzerland!! Can’t imagine skiing there!! But people were skiing and hiking to the highest parts of the surrounding peaks

Matterhorn Glacier in Zermatt Visited on 19/9/2019 Since I was in primary school, I learnt about Matterhorn Mountain. It is a large, near-symmetric pyramidal peak in the the Pennine Alps, shaped like a jagged tooth. It is one of the highest summits in the Alps and Europe.
