Went there on a rainy Saturday afternoon in late November. There were quite a few other tourists who braved the wet weather to walk the trail.

Even though wet rocks and puddles made it somewhat challenging to walk the trail, it was still fairly easy to complete the roundtrip within an hour if one chose to do so.

Given the location and altitude, the mountain areas near the trail are often filled with misty fog even during sunny weather whereas one could see sunshine while walking on this trail. Thus the trail is named "Sunny Trail".

There obviously was no sunshine during a rainy day but the greeneries took on a shiny, polished, gem like look. Furthermore, several small streams flowing down the mountain side added dynamism to the trail that would be non existent during dry weather.

While I had not visited this trail previously, I surmise there would be a lot more tourists during nicer weather which would make it less enjoyable. During my visit, I was able to find moments of peace in between bursts of passing tourists.

It was well worth a three hour one way drive from...

This is a short trail (0.9km) but you should also include the 1.1km hike from the Jianqing Parking lot to the Trailhead, which by itself is really a very nice trail.

The trail has the natural original forest feel. You see not only huge cedar trees but all sorts of algae, mosses and ferns. I also encountered many birds such as the White Tailed Robin and Syrmaticus mikado (帝雉). You should contrast this trail with the trail at the end of the BengBeng Train (蹦蹦車) ride. I think both are exceptionally beautiful...

Could ask for more, very beautiful and worth visiting. However, the path were broken in 2011 due to the typhoon, and it haven’t repair yet. So it only take about 30 minutes to walk through the whole ways. If you try to take pictures, it may take a longer time. Also, this path normally get really foggy, which is another kind of beauty. The day I went was a sunny day, temperatures were fine and feels great in the forest! But I would recommend for a foggy time, will be...

This trail is just sooooooo dope. It’s an abandoned old railway used to be running for transporting woods. And it’s now all covered with moss and you will be surrounded by very thick fog, which makes you feel like in somewhere very surreal and so close to the nature. There are also some hanging bridges through which you can stand in the middle of the air and feel how small we are in the mother’s earth. It’s very easy to hike and not hard to access. Def worth paying a visit.
