bei der Chang Chong Bridge handelt es sich um die Überquerung eines Flusses der praktisch direkt in den Pazifik und das direkt vor unseren Augen, sowohl bei Ebbe als auch Flut, mündet. Im Rücken hat man dann ein wunderschönes Bergtal. Die Brücke hat einen sehr pragmatischen Baustil aber wunderbare Sichtachsen. Wenn man aus dem Norden kommt, dann sieht sie sehr klein aus. Aus der Nähe echt ein super Klotz. Es lohnt sich in jedem Fall dort anzuhalten, weil dort auch das Tourismuszentrum von Xavi ist. An der Brücke gibt es eine Verkaufsstelle wo man echt gute Betelnüsse bekommt. In jedem Fall immer 30 Minuten zum verweilen wert. Nur ein Kilometer weiter ist als nächste Station der Wendekreis...

位於秀姑巒溪河口，南北端分別接連著港口村和靜浦村的「長虹橋」，有新舊兩座之分，舊長虹橋建於1969年，因交通流量逐年遽增、不敷使用，因此在2006年興建了「新長虹橋」。 舊長虹橋現已無車輛通行，規劃成行人專用道，南北兩側各有供遊客休憩的涼亭，可以漫步在此，欣賞新長虹橋的壯麗。

位於11號省道68K處，長120公尺，為臺灣第一座預力無橋墩懸壁延伸混凝土橋。站在橋上遠望，奚卜蘭島橫臥在秀姑巒溪河口。由於溪水阻絕，島上保有完整荊棘林植物相，橋下則是秀姑巒溪泛舟的終點。

長虹橋優雅的拱形橋身橫跨在秀姑巒溪出海口處兩岸，在山海交際之處形成一道美麗的虹影，成為東海岸的著名拍照地標，而這裡也是泛舟的終點站，一艘艘疲倦又滿足的泛舟筏在這裡靠岸。沿著步道在溪畔漫步，水鳥輕巧的在河床邊覓食，自行車來來往往，兩旁的植物隨季節變換風景，若是累了，不妨到附近的新太平洋1號店稍作休息，喝杯下午茶，度過悠閒的時光。

長虹橋建成於1969年，長120公尺，是台灣第一座懸臂式單拱預力混凝土橋。由遠處看，於上橋俯瞰，可見秀姑巒溪徐行入海，站在橋前可以遙望臨近的太平洋。長虹橋位在秀姑巒溪的河口，大港口、靜浦村就在南北各約五百公尺開外，現已成為泛舟活動的登岸據點。
