This is a nice side trip if you're in Chishang. The area is pretty with a pond and bamboo groves. The mud can boil pretty energetically as you can see in the video, though it's on a smaller scale and not like Yellowstone.

我原先是要去羅山瀑布的, 在700公尺前會看到羅山泥火山的地標. 於是在走完瀑布步道後就來這裡, 這裡其實也可以遠觀瀑布的不想爬600公尺瀑布步道的可以直接到這裡. Strava記錄我走750公尺從羅山泥火山的地標到羅山大魚池只有500公尺, 這是一個設有免費停車場及免費入園的景點從魚池的2邊走都可以到羅山泥火山, 走到後面會看到一條鐵製的步道,再往前走, 右邊可以看到很像泥濘的地方就是羅山火山泥, 我看了幾分鐘可以看到冒小泡泡,有時候會多一點喔, 雖然不大還是適合帶小朋友來體驗大自然的奧妙. 在這裡有一片竹林區, 可以順著竹林繞一圈, 拍拍照還不錯, 旁邊的田有簡易的水道橋也可以看看. 回程可以在大涼亭及九曲橋拍照
