Lyudao Lighthouse — Attraction in Green Island

It's free to visit this lighthouse and you can pay to visit the top of the lighthouse. This lighthouse was built with the funding of Americans It has an awesome view of the airstrip so if you time it well, you can observe the plane (on limited schedule and highly dependent on weather) landing and flying off to the main island of Taiwan. There's also a huge natural circular pool below that is about the chest of a normal adult at its deepest point, it has calm sea water which makes it amazing for a swim and especially safe for kids in its shallow zones. So bring your swim gear while visiting...

Very white painted lighthouse and surrounding buildings. Couldn't go in the lighthouse or buildings except for the lookout structure. Just walked around. Very windy. The airport landing strip is adjacent to the lighthouse. We remarked how we would rather take the vomit-inducing ferry than land on that tiny air strip in all that wind and...

A wonderfully maintained lighthouse and immaculately kept garden surrounding it. Great views of the coast line (obviously it is a light house.

Nice little respite if walking or biking the coast, clean public restrooms.
