I brought my family to the Leofoo park. I bought 2 adult passes for just the village park and 3 adult combo passes for the village and the water park. It was the 23rd of June and half the rides in the village park were closed for maintenance. I went to the water park side only to have multiple hindrances. First I was told that I needed hair caps. I'm bald, but I still needed a hair cap to go down the slides. So I bought hair caps for the 3 of us with water park passes at 200 nt$ each. Then I went up to the slides to have some fun only to be weighed and told I couldn't ride the slides because I was over 90kg. I was told I could go to the lazy river or the wave pool or the short kiddie slide only. The short slide was insultingly small. The lazy river was closed. And when I got to the wave pool, it closed 5 minutes after I got in. And at the deep end whete they start requiring a life jacket, the water only came to my waist. So, basically, don't go before June 28th, and if you weigh 90kg or more, don't go to the water park at all. There is nothing for you to do. I paid 799 nt$ for the park only passes and I paid 1500 nt$ for each combo pass. Complete waste of my time and money. Maybe worth it for the kids, but if your over 6'5 and over 90kg like me, don't waste your time and money. I'm really upset that they talked me into buying hair caps to ride the slides that I was then not even allowed to ride due to weight limits. And they wouldn't even refund me for the unused hair cap. Ridiculous! When I bought my tickets on the official Leofoo website there was no mention of these restrictions or issues. Yet they had no problem taking my money...
Read moreProbably the worst run water park I've ever been to. Half of the rides were closed for no discernable reason, and the ones that were open had incredibly long lines. Staff even restricted the slides that had multiple lanes to one person at a time, rendering them pretty much useless.
Almost every ride requires inner tubes to ride, and instead of having the park guests carry them up themselves like every other water park I've been to, they insist on using a a machine to send up the tubes to the top. The thing is the machine is unbearably slow. It delivers about one tube per minute, meaning lines that could take 15 minutes to go through are now about an hour.
Don't give this awful park your money, do yourself a favor and go to one of Taiwan's many natural waterfalls and rivers instead and save yourself...
Read moreGreat place to have fun! Kids are definitely going to enjoy it here. There are two parts of the park: Theme park and Water Park. Both have different entrance fees. One day isn't enough for one park! Believe me, a day isn't enough! I suggest you get tickets online or look for discount packages. We brought our packed lunch, though there are restaurants in the park. The entrance fee is worth it! Just schedule your visit on weekdays because there won't be too much queue and it'll be easier to get a ride. Oh by the way, their shows are all in Chinese (no English subtitles). The rides aren't all for kids. Height limit is required for some rides - for safety of course. Overall, my...
