真正的名稱為澎湖地質公園奎壁山，名為地質公園當然會有地質方面的景觀及介紹，較著名的就是陸連島赤嶼的潮汐涉水路，而奎壁山海岸的玄武岩石壁也很有看頭，園區裡設置有完善的公共廁所服務，廁所外則設置有沖洗的水龍頭，可以沖洗腳上及鞋子的沙粒；即然是重要風景區，當然就會有遊客服務中心，服務中心內除了地質方面的展示及說明外，還提供有飲水機供使用，另外園區週圍沒有免費的停車空間，所以都必需停放園區的收費停車場，機車是計次的一次20元；另外有兩座涼亭供賞景發呆，餐飲方面也有一棟景觀餐廳。
