not one of the easiest places to get to. Inconvenient transport and u have to walk up to 40 min to get to the Sakura track. (Not the one at the main entrance, there's another) Not for the elderlies. Only 2 rather unhygenic public toilet cabin along the way to the Sakura trial in the mountains,

reviews and YouTube videos are kind of overrated, Only looking good and in full bloom for a few days. Too tough a place to commute to

food and accomodation aren't the best either (considering the price u paid to stay there during cherry blossom season)

Room can be out of hot water for 30 min... Terribly cold at night, passable taste for food.

Basically there's nothing to do up there, besides doing the 40 min hike to see the cherry blossom trial, and maybe walking further if u wan to see giant trees, aside that , that's about all. Surrounding scenary isn't fantastic.

Too much time to travel up for these.,took at least 6 hours to and back from Hsinchu city. Requires a lot of time, effort and resilience to get there. go if u have alot of time to spare, if not other spots in Taipei/Taiwan are equally great...

It's a very remote mountain tribe. The beauties of it can be reserved because it's hard to reach. Spring Water used was clear and nutritious. It has been nurturing the people since the tribe established. You will feel the difference after drinking and showering with the water.

The serene and peaceful vibe attracted me more than hiking around the area. These beautifully built guest house came with balconies which gives you views of morning dance of mountains and clouds. It's beautiful, it's spectacular, it's mesmerizing!

Food service was excellent. However, they are facing with man power shortage , please be patient with them especially during the vacation seasons.

If you visit the area, take a look at the seemed ordinary bushes on the roadsides. Gently touch and smell it. These big bushes are lavender 🪻! The mountains provide a perfect surrounding for the growth of lavender, cool and moist!
