Cijin Windmill Park — Attraction in Kaohsiung

Well managed and nice path for cycling along the coast! It's a very good spot for having sunset with less crowded here. Besides go into beach, this cycling can be a very good activity at Cijin. After sunset, you can back to the old street night market for dinner or having cheap seafood around. At the old street have one market selling some dry seafood products and the price is very cheap too! Worth to spent for half day by cycling around and visiting some...

Visited Cijin Windmill Park with high hopes but was sorely disappointed. The park is badly maintained, with only three windmills out of many actually functioning. The rest stand idle, giving the place a deserted feel. There's not much else to see or do here besides as tourist renting the bike from the market with 2 hours rental return. It's a shame as the potential for a picturesque attraction...

I came during the afternoon, was pretty hot and barren. There were little animal statues and windmills and you can see the view of the ocean, but it was just okay. Not a place you would specially chose to go especially with it being quite a distance away from the ferry harbour. Would recommend going to the cijin beach instead and exploring the street food...
