Taking a bumpy ride on a shuttle bus is the only way to get to the sky walk except for a pricey taxi ride. Family pass including shuttle transit is offered online, which I strongly recommended. Try to go on both day and night; the experience is totally different; night time, the colorful lights make the bridge look like a party place and in day the bridge looks so majestic and intimidating to be there for more time. Best to visit during winter because you won't feel the heat, have to walk for a while to go to the top Tickets are cheap; for students, it's 60$NTD and adults. I think it's 100$ntd.

Read moreDon't expect a glass walkway. There's just one really tiny section that's made of glass, perhaps just a few tiles. Overall it's is really short and crowded. You will get some great views but it's not worth the time and effort it takes to get here. For a couple of adults and no kids, you will be done in 5 minutes.
Don't be a stupid foreigner (like us) and drive all the way to the top, you will get some very angry remarks and be sent back.
The only way to get there is to take the shuttle bus or a shared taxi from the designated stations.
