If you love glass and mirrors, it is worth the trip to visit Taiwan Glass Gallery. Of the two highlights here: Golden Tunnel & World Under the Sea, I would say that the Golden Tunnel may not be suitable for those who lose their equilibrium easily. The World Under the Sea is nicer and friendlier to the sense. There's also mirror trick to play around in this complex. The neighbouring glass Mazu temple is a must visit, when you are here already, as it is an architectural feat. More beautiful in night light but you may find trouble getting out of the industrial area if you do not have your...

Basically a tourist trap for old Taiwanese people. Can’t believe I fell for the high ratings on Google Maps. The entire place is run-down and grungy. Most of the space is a giant gift shop with random glassware and cheap, mass-produced souvenirs. The glass temple is very dirty and looks way worse in person than it does on photos. The gallery/museum has some pieces that might be interesting for some people, but the aesthetic is just really tacky and outdated. It’s neither traditional nor modern, just that tasteless “Chinatown” look. What a waste of an...

Just hilarious !! The place is in a industrial area and you can feel it in your breaths the pollution. Just a shop at all for the glass objects. Nothing much at all to see all you got is glass objects. The temple is also not so good in day time. The heat is just to bad in addition to the air. Don't visit here just a waste of time here. Many more places in tiwan that you can visit. I wasted whole 4 hours to discover nothing much interesting at all. Seashore is far and it is definitely not attractive just beer bottles of...

This is an interesting place, so they are a glass factory making various glass products, but have opened this glass amusement park, it's well done and there are a good few things to see. They were giving glass blowing demonstrations which was very interesting. There is a hall of mirrors, now that is a real weird walk through and you honestly walk into the mirrors but it was a lot if fun, included in the ticket price are some glasses, and a pair of slippers. Overall worth a visit, but if you have been once that is enough.

I personally like this place a lot since the first time my parents took me there when I was little. This time around I still like it as all those glass artworks were so astonishingly beautiful. I'd say that it's definitely a tourist place to go but definitely worth it if you like beautiful glass artworks. This place is free for entry and 10min-driving from here will bring you to the downtown area of the city, where you can enjoy the traditional customs of the temples and local food, so why not give it a try?
