Entrance fee required. Convenient parking. Short paved trail great for strollers. Different insects and butterflies to discover along the walkway.

The park also has a few hobbit style buildings, fish feeding ponds and even a small pen with lamas and goats. Overall the paved walkway is very clean and there’s a lot of butterflies if the season is correct!

“This post is only for the short paved walkway leading up to the...

Poorly kept. A smattering of food stalls and empty open arenas. It is a cross between an abandoned night market (no vendors were available although it was the weekend) and a local park. There was no water flow during my visit so there’s no waterfall. Don’t be fooled by the...

A hidden gem in mountains. Beautiful well maintained area with lots of photo spots. There is a trail to the waterfall, and the last section has no boardwalk, so you have to climb the rocks, but it...

One has to pay NTD$80 for tickets alone, which in my opinion is a little pricey. If you drove all the way there, you would have to pay another NTD$50 for parking. Since it’s drought season, there is little water coming down the waterfall. The 1.5 kilometer hiking trail leading to Liang-Shan Waterfall is well organized. The hike towards Liang-Shan is mostly uphill, which can be quite exhausting for most people. On the contrary, the hike back is quite easy, since it’s mostly downhill.
