This trail is just next to the Central Peak Forestation Trail, and it's easy for you to combine these two trails into a leisure 4 km return walk. Since this trail is situated mostly in the woods and valley of the ridge, thus it demonstrates a much forest view instead of panorama view like Central Peak...

位於彰化社頭的清水岩寺後方，有一條兼具人文歷史與自然生態的健行路線 ─ 清水岩步道群。步道由十八彎古道、中央嶺造林步道與園區的一峰、二峰、三峰平台串聯而成，形成O型環線，路線有多條步道可做選擇。 十八彎古道昔日是社頭、田中通往南投的重要運輸路徑，如今古道鋪設了鵝卵石與木棧道，沿途林蔭遮蔽，清涼舒適，行走其中，不時可見蝴蝶翩翩飛舞、蟲鳴鳥叫，還能在林間眺望高速鐵路呼嘯而過，感受古今交錯的獨特景緻。 建議可把車子停放在園區展演廣場免費停車場，先往一峰平台出發，接續二峰、三峰平台，再走向福樂亭。途中視野逐漸開闊，山林與茶園相映成趣，其中「擎天崗」是一段具挑戰性的陡峭階梯，雖然氣喘吁吁，但俯瞰腳下的風景令人忘卻疲憊。 下山可經茶園折返，選擇十八彎古道回程，坡度較為平緩。全程步道約3.9公里，步行時間約2小時，不論是喜愛山林生態，還是想體驗古道歷史氛圍的遊客，這是一條兼具自然與人文的路線，值得慢慢品味。
