Manabangshan — Attraction in Tai'an

It was a really lovely, not too challenging hike. No, rope climbing, but a little slippery underfoot due to clay flooring. We saw many butterflies, dragonflies, caterpillars, a few frogs, and there seemed to be quite a lot of flies, so maybe insect repellent would be a good idea. We parked very close to here 馬拉邦渡假山莊 (you have to pay $100 into an honesty box) and walked for about 15 minutes to the trailhead. Manapan offers an easy to intermediate day hike. An amazing panoramic view of Northern Taiwan's Holy Ridge awaits at the top. The maple forest, sea of clouds, and snow capped Holy Ridge makes repeat visits worth while.
