It's a narrow street lined with restaurants and vendors selling everything from grilled sausages to wheel cake to stinky tofu. There's a wide variety of Hakka eats. There are also vendors selling seasonal fruit-- we bought strawberries and apples.

There was one vendor selling homemade brew. We bought strawberry moonshine, whisky and brandy. They gave us a bottle of mead.

It's a fun pit stop during our camping trip. We went on a Sunday. It was very crowded and parking was very difficult. It's a worthwhile stop if you're in the area for a snack and something...

This street is named Tofu street cause almost every shop here sells the smelly Tofu! I have never tried and don't know why some love them! So I decided to take up the challenge! We ordered the deep fried ones. My local guide says it is the easiest to try as fried ones are the least smelly. Omg! I cannot! It is nothing like fermented beans! But I finished one piece! This place also sells the most yummy pear and "muachee"! Very different texture from those we buy from our local pasar malam. We went on a Monday so most shops were closed. Remember to go...

Small and crowded, but filled with lots of great food. The stinky tofu is great.

There is a restaurant offering soft tofu deserts on the second floor with amazing views of the valley.

Be aware that parking is along the side of a mountain and transforms the road to a one lane street. Expect to have to back up to let incoming traffic pass.

There are more convenient night markets to visit, but this is a nice one...
