Asia University Museum of Modern Art — Attraction in Taichung

Loved this museum, not too large and not too small, a lot of beautiful light and space. The exhibits were lovely and the interactive paintings by local artists was very special. They also had a fun exhibit on tigers for this lunar new year. The museum shop has nice things, we bought a few things for the kids. The cafe is behind the shop, it’s a beautiful space but the food variety is very limited. The architecture of this building is beautiful! It has a lot of natural lighting so it is a nice place to take picture. The art there is all by artists who have attended Asia University. The staff were very nice. It is $230NT to get in, and it only took me about 45 minutes to see all of the galleries. I loved the gift shop. The café has some absolutely beautiful and delicious food- I loved my matcha latté and the Italian chicken salad was honestly one of the best salads I've ever had! I went mainly for the building and not the art. I think the museum is relatively small and not worth the trip if you’re looking for good art (not to say the exhibition wasn’t good). 3-4 stars at best.

The building is on the other hand is pretty.
