The "Art Street" district is a true gem of Taichung which has a lot of potential. It's kind of a local secret and not nearly as famous as it might deserve, but that also makes it kind of extra cool. There's nothing else quite like this district that I've seen in Taiwan.
Located only 10km from downtown Taichung City, but definitely worth a visit to check out the art galleries, unusual shops, and nice restaurants there. It is walking distance (less than 1km) from Tunghai University and Tunghai Villa Night Market.
