Wuqi Fishing Harbor — Attraction in Taichung

Wuqi Fishing Harbour is a fishing port where visitors can purchase the freshest seafood and also dine at local restaurants that offer cook-to-order services for live seafood. Additionally, there are numerous small outlets selling fresh, ready-to-eat takeaway options.

During our visit, we dined at one of the restaurants and ordered several dishes, including Pepper & Salt Prawn, Braised Sea Cucumber, Steamed Garlic Giant Clam, Steamed Muddy Crab, Seafood Noodle, Garlic White Water Snow Flake, and Fresh Sushi.

We also tried some ready-to-eat takeaway items, such as freshly deep-fried fish egg roe, fried oyster with salt and pepper, and a deep-fried oyster pancake.

Very interesting place to visit even if it's just to look at how a wet fish market operates. There is also a row of stalls selling snacks and drinks. There is a large 7-11 right at the back of the market near where the fishing boats are. This is also where the 5 seafood restaurants are situated. When considering which restaurant to patronize just see where everyone else is dining.
