頑皮世界野生動物園 (Wanpi World Zoo) — Attraction in Tainan

It was quite muddy the day we visited because it had been raining. There was a wide variety of animals for the size of the zoo. They had dozens of porcupines and emus which was interesting to see. The enclosures were adequate, but could use some cleaning and maintenance. There was a small indoor entertainment park on the property with some very ghetto looking rides that did not look clean or maintained for safety standards. There were several school groups piling on the rides none the less. The admission price for this private zoo was very high by Taiwan standards (about 350-450 NT per person). We will likely not be returning as the animals did not seem to have adequate care and there are better zoo options in Taiwan with lower fees and...

Awesome place for kids. Zoo + water park + some rides. We rented and drove around a cart, which the kids really liked.

There are many animals which you can feed: goats, bunnies, capybara (have to make an appointment ahead of time), and others. We didn’t have time to see everything.

The water park area has two big slides, a big water bed area, and timed water spouts. It was all pretty fun for the kids. We spent quite a bit of time here, so didn’t have time to see most of the animals. Definitely worth visiting more than once. And we hope to...

Privately run zoo with no government support so your entrance fee will go a long way to help feed and care for the animals. The animals looked healthy, well fed, and cared for. Petting the elephant is supervised with a handler with an opportunity to get a photo together for an extra donation.
