The bridge on the east side is closed, but the area is accessible by car from the west with parking for 10 or so vehicles. Note that the road coming from the north has a very narrow section. There are public toilets and you can take a short walk in the area around the lighthouse with signage explaining some of the background. Worth a stop if it's...

It's worth a visit if you're in the area, but we weren't able to climb up to the lighthouse to enjoy the view, which should be nice with the coast so close. A historical lighthouse with remnants of Japanese military infrastructure. Easy to walk around with simple table and chairs for a picnic. Voted in Taiwan's top 100 most historical places according to the placard. Getting there can be difficult. Closed on Mondays.
