Saw Seen Woo Ying Cheng (SSWYC) — Attraction in Taoyuan City

This is an amazing place. At first when I entered I thought it was a bit gimmicky but you can consider this a playland. They start by handing you a dorayaki. There are many samples of various desserts and you can totally eat the price of admission if you like sweets.

They have a cute seating area next to the windows as well as regular tables. The food is quite delicious, even for a regular restaurant. I highly, highly recommend the eel rice. But only if you like that kind of thing. The portion is very generous. The other generous thing is the fried mochi. Please refer to my photos. You can offset meals with the admission price.

There is a factory where you can see the assembly line making dorayaki upstairs, some stereotypical Japan props for good photo-taking opportunities, and a mochi-making DIY class at an additional cost. There is also a souvenir store and more food for sale.

You can elect to dress up in a kimono and the price is quite cheap. It does include an updo, shoes, and an accessory of your choosing.

However, one of the best parts is the fish pond outside with very ginormous fish. I believe there is fish food available for purchase, at least I saw people with fish food and I don't think they would be carrying it around.

There are a lot of tour groups that steamroll through here so I advise you arrive earlier unless you want to mingle into a group. The English name of the place is very funny, did not know they could translate...

If you like Japanese culture then this is a place to come. Although theres not much to see but still had some fun with the decorations. The food court has alot of gifts and food gifts. The cafe is not too bad. Best part is the entrance fee of $200NTD can be used as food voucher so have something to eat and entrance is basically free.
