In this current age & time. It’s good to visit the source of seafood rather than just sit in a restaurant & click on your phone. The port has an amazing variety of seafood. You can watch while the boat comes in & unload. You can also walk along the stretch of seafood vendors & make your purchase there. The vendors are very friendly. They will also recommend you cooking style for your purchase. You can buy the seafood from them & bring to the restaurants just beside & inform them to cook for you. You really can’t get any fresher than this. The only downside is the restaurants cooking doesn’t justify the seafood. It’ll be better If you or your family members knows how to cook. Recommended. It does get very crowded...

Came here for some friends during a weekend trip to Yilan. It's a fish market where you literally see the fisherman's boat come in with fresh seafood. Prices for fresh seafood are really good compared to traditional markets and really fresh. Bought clams and oysters here and took it home.

Also, we bought some seafood there and had the local vendors cook and the food was good, price was reasonable. Nice place to visit but a bit out of the way for fresh seafood...
