One of the best hot springs. We stayed in one of the tatami rooms. It's a simple functional and most comfortable bed space - rid of anything fancy. Best to call them to make bookings.

Our journey from Taipei Main Station. Took a TRA . it's a 3-hr journey to Ruisui. On arrival we should have eaten something before getting a taxi to the hot springs, or bought some food to bring with us. We arrived after dinner hours but the lady was nice to offer to cook us dinner- fried rice. We ordered a taxi from 7-11 kiosk. Super convenient. The taxi journey was about 20 mins, costs 250 NTD.

The hots springs is surrounded by nature. There are two pools on the outdoors. When you sit in the pools you see the mountains right in front of you. The most relaxing experience.

We walked up the hill following a road next to the stream. And all along the way you'll find some of the most astonishingly beautiful slates.

The ladies who run the place are friendly and most helpful responding to our minimal Chinese! They even took our lunch orders and helped made the order and picked them up for us. We had some sumptuous biantan - bento.

What to bring with you:

swim wear towels toiletries hiking shoes water bottles - there are water dispensers all around the property. instant ramen bowls and...

Highly recommended for the unfussy traveler who wants an authentic, old-school hot spring experience.

Located at the source of the hot spring, this place has two hot pools and one cold pool that are outdoors, facing the mountain where you may see monkeys in the treetops. Private tubs big enough for two are also available. Water is warm and clear.

Several room types are offered. I recommend the Japanese style tatami rooms.

Boss and staff are pleasent and helpful. Tasty and simple breakfast...

Good hotspring and hotel. I got the 700 price for a person to tray in tatami room and free hotspring everyday. Night until 12pm and morning from 6 am. Feel free to use the hotspring, but need to wear swimsuits, they provide towel and break fast. Place a bit far from the city. Not easy to access. Facilities was ok. Shower not too cold, but also not hot. Hotspring divide to 3 temperatures. Cold warm and hot. You can get better room...

An old hotspring hostel with azaming quality. The hostel is located in the innermost area of Jui Sui Hot Spring. The public pool has mountain view in the day time and star sky in the night. The price is quite reasonable but the value is beyond expectation!

Beautiful and quiet hot springs. We went on a Friday afternoon and there was nobody else there for most of the time we were there. Cost 150/head and bring a towel or air dry like we did!
