LOVED this beach. Not being from Taiwan, I had never seen dark gray sand before in my life, but it was awesome - it was so soft. Water was nice and warm as well. Great to watch the traditional Taiwanese fishing out in the bay. Bathroom and changing facilities are located about 300 meters from the water off...

Windy and rough beach facing east china sea. We went there from dongshan train station with bicycle. Cycled along dongshan river. It takes 10km enjoyable cyfling to reach to beach. Black fine sand. Worth...

Lovely beach, decided to drop by since we were nearby, and we didn't regret our decision. If you are into scenic views, give this a try. I wouldn't specially travel here, but it you are near give it a try. Beach is clean, just the driveway into the beach is quite narrow with no proper driveway.
