This is a place I would visit annually every late autumn to early winter, it is December this time. The day I went, there’s around 80150 tourists, comparing to the past years, the amount of tourists this year is is significantly less, I was surprised by the easiness of I find a parking spot, such a good thing for me. Except from the tourist amount reduction, nothing else differs from my memory, this place is a persimmon farm on a slope near the town, around 45 minute drive from the high way. There’s always orange persimmons hanging on the trees and on the bamboo rack, I think this scenario could represent the season properly, thus I’ve taken a few photos. Besides the scenario, they sold dried persimmons in plastic cases around 810 pieces per box for NTD 200~250, it adjusts slightly depending on how many persimmons they’ve harvested at that year. Although I visit this place annually on a regular basis, I’m here mainly for the scenario, not for the dried persimmon, I’m not saying that it taste weird or strange, instead it taste quite good and I would always buy some home, although I do not consider myself as a huge fan of...
Read moreNice place worth spending 2 hours stay. It’s very crowded especially on weekend. Surprised parking is not bad here. There is a large parking lot itself, or you may parking along the road side. You may take a look to whole flow on how and what the Dried persimmon was made of. It taste average. Suggestion to owner: As a famous and frequently crowded place, highly suggest the owner to consider hiring more employees host and guide the visitors better. Suggestions to visitors: Expect to the “ super star”, there are many different plants here. It’s good kids could see more species here. If possible, come here on weekdays, not...
Read moreThis is a fantastic place to visit! We bought dried persimmons for NT150, and they were amazing – sweet, soft, and delicious, reminding me of dried prunes. Just a note, they must be kept in the freezer. While there weren't many persimmons left on the trees since they’ve already been harvested, we had the chance to see how they process and dry them. It was truly an amazing experience, with rows and rows of baskets stacked high under the sun. Plus, it’s free to visit, no ticket required! Highly...
